Our Mljet Island tour will take you to this magical place.
Home to the oldest National Park on the Adriatic, Mljet is the quintessential paradise island: peaceful, unspoiled, and home to fascinating plants and wildlife…
Come and explore this majestic island and forget about the bustle of modern urban life.
Situated just an hour and a half from Dubrovnik by speedboat, near the peninsula of Pelješac and the island of Korčula, Mljet is one of the many must-see locations on the South Dalmatian coast.
Our first stop on this Mljet boat tour is at the far end of the island, in a village called Pomena, where the entrance to the Mljet National Park is located. If you need assistance, your skipper will help you buy tickets and get around. With 2 hours of free time, you can visit the saltwater lakes and the monastery of Saint Mary at your leisure.
The richness of flora and fauna on Mljet Island is one of the reasons why the northwestern part of the island became a national park in 1960. The protected area stretches over 3000 hectares.
As we approach the island by sea from Dubrovnik, you’ll quickly realise you’re entering an unspoiled oasis. It is awe-inspiring to see the dense green vegetation surrounded by a clear, mesmerising blue sea and listen to the chirping of the birds and the song of the crickets.
A Mljet island tour is truly a must-do on your Dubrovnik holiday!

The next stop on our Mljet boat tour is Odysseus’ cave. Legend has it that Odysseus was shipwrecked on Mljet and was trapped by the nymph Calypso in a cave that can only be entered by sea, either swimming or in a smaller boat.
The cave is only a few meters wide, but, on summer days, around noon, the sunlight creates a natural phenomenon: a spectrum of colors in the sea.
We will drop our anchor near the cave and snorkel inside. You will be provided with complimentary Go-Pro, snorkels, and towels!
After your snorkelling excursion, you will surely need a break and some tasty nourishment, so we suggest a local speciality lunch on Šipan Island. We will happily offer our recommendation for a delicious seafood restaurant!
After lunch, we will begin our journey back to Dubrovnik. Since this is your private, custom tour, we will happily adjust the speed of our trip and pause for photos or a quick dip in the sea as you’d like!
We hope you’ll create beautiful memories from this day, ones that you will always rewind and replay to remember your experience in Dubrovnik.
In the event of rain or high winds, you will have the opportunity to reschedule your experience or receive a full refund. You can review our full cancellation policy for further details. Don’t worry, our Service Guarantee assures a refund if your expectations are not met!
