Lokrum Island and Fisherman Cave…
Lokrum Island, located just a short ferry ride from Dubrovnik, Croatia, is a unique and enchanting destination. It boasts a rich history dating back to the 10th century, lush botanical gardens, a pristine saltwater lake, and an abandoned Benedictine monastery that now serves as a museum. The island’s stunning natural beauty and cultural significance make it a must-visit location for any traveler to Croatia.
Led by our knowledgeable local skipper, you will first explore the Fisherman Cave, situated in the eastern part of Lokrum Island, where you will uncover fascinating secrets and learn about its captivating history. The cave is shallow, but the rocks surrounding it are over 20 meters high. We will go inside by boat to explore this beautiful place. The most exciting part about this cave is that you can see layers of the earth – a marvelous natural sight.
After soaking up the atmosphere in the cave, you can do some cliff jumping at the entrance where the water is deep.
Our next stop is the beautiful island of Lopud, and you’re in for a treat! This island is known for having one of the most amazing sandy beaches in the Dubrovnik area, called Šunj. Can you imagine spending a hot summer day lounging on the Adriatic Sea? It’s never less than blissful!
